A member of the Arizona Legislature was airlifted to a Phoenix hospital, after he was beaten and bound at his business in Casa Grande on Christmas Day.
Authorities say State Rep. Frank Pratt was assaulted and tied up and his SUV stolen during the attack, which occurred at approximately 4:00 PM. Casa Grande Police say he suffered multiple bruises and contusions and at least one fracture, and was last listed in stable condition.
At this point, investigators say there is no description of the suspect.
Pratt, a Republican, is State Representative for District 23. He also owns the Casa Grande Dive Shop, and Pratt Pools in Casa Grande.
The vehicle that was stolen is described as a gold 2007 GMC Yukon, with Arizona license plate  815-KYJ. If you see it, you are urged to call 9-1-1 or Casa Grande Police.
